Almost all of the individuals we serve at our food and winter coat giveaway events in New Haven are a part of the homeless population. MWCM aims to ultimately provide coats for as many of these individuals as we can. Your contributions and support will go a long way in making that a reality.

Name: Keyona Bailey
School: Titchfield High School, Portland
Keyona is from a single-family home of three. Her mother has sustained an injury to her right hand which makes it a challenge to work to support Keyona and her brother.
Mrs. Barnett was a scholar, educator, entrepreneur, and community leader. She opened and operated a business school, Boundbrook Commercial College, and, later, was Head of the Business Department at Titchfield High School. Mrs. Barnett was dedicated to her beloved Port Antonio and its wonderful people.
She served on many committees and several boards. She was widely known and recognized for her time as director of the Portland chapter of the Red Cross. Mrs. Barnett was never too busy to visit the sick, share with the needy, and pray with anyone. We hope this scholarship enables and encourages the next great Tichfield-educated scholar, leader, and humanitarian.
